I have many fond memories of Auntie Clare. She infused any room she entered with warmth and mirth. I will always remember her infectious laugh and her generous spirit. I am certain she was welcomed at the pearly gates with open arms and much applause. Kathleen “Totsie” Boyle McGonagle

If ever there was a person who lived life to the fullest, I would have to say it would be Aunt Clare. Our family was fortunate enough to know the Shlora family and I can recall being at their house, going to Holy Child of Jesus in Rye with Nancy and the times Clare and Ray would come to our home. Singing, laughing, it was wonderful. If I am recalling correctly, my father used to say Clare always had her hat on and was ready to go. Heaven will be graced with her smile and wonderfulness. Thinking of all Clare's family and friends. Sincerely, Brenda O'Leary

I will never forget her wonderful renditions of “It Had to be You”. A great lady who will be greatly missed.
