Dottie was a great gal. Her contributions to the success of the Woman's Club of Rye are immeasurable. Dottie hosted annually a beautiful September lobster/steak dinner on the sound for years to welcome back our members. She worked tirelessly on other projects too; namely our theater group and Christmas extravaganza.
She missed Ed very much; that was always evident, but she tried hard to keep going on after he passed away. Our hearts go out to Dottie's family. We appreciated her friendship, loyalty to the Woman's Club, and tenacity in meeting the challenges of life.
Sincerely,
Eileen Shea,
Past Co-President,
Woman's Club of Rye

Dottie has been a friend, seems like 'forever'. I think I first met her in the 1980's as a CW chapter member. We then teamed up in 1996 to archive the TWA Clipped Wings uniform collection, housed at MCI, Kansas City's new airport complex. We flew out, on TWA passes, almost monthly and hanged our hat with Dottie's sister in Liberty MO. I shall never forget it!!
Memories of Dottie (& Ed) will always be with me. Time passes, & it will for me too, but I am thankful to remember those most special times we had together.
My condolences to Peter, Laurie, Ellen, Edward and the grandchildren,
Gladys Blundin
