Obituary of Frank V. Visci

Frank V. Visci, 90, of Rye NY passed away peacefully on Dec. 29th, 2016. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged on Dec. 31st, 1946. After the service, Frank was a truck driver and long time member of Teamsters union local 295. He also drove a school bus for the Mamaroneck School District. Frank was an active member of the Rye Senior Citizens as well as VFW post 128, and also an active member in the community. He was one of the original members of the Playland Advisory Committee to the Rye City Council. Frank also rallied against "The Bridge" from Long Island to Westchester. Frank was predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years, Marie (2006), his son Richard (2005), his brother Thomas and sister Corrine Grant. He is survived by his son Michael (Enza) of Rye, NY. Daughter Margaret Smalley (Walter) of Brewster, NY. Daughter-in-law Elaine Visci of Shelton, CT. Sister-in-law Eleanor Visci of Tuckahoe, NY. He will be missed by his loving grandchildren, Frank, Anthony, James, Mathew, Ryan and Caitlin, and by his many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home on Friday December 30, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday December 31st at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
