Obituary of Marguerite C. Ianello

Marguerite Catherine Ianello passed peacefully on the morning of August 9th.  She was born in Port Chester, NY on September 6th 1948 and resided in Rye, NY for the last 21 years. She is predeceased by her father John D. Ianello and mother Alice Gagliardo Ianello.  She is survived by her brother Angelo and sister-in-law Pam, sister MJ and her husband Bob, nephew Matt and his wife Devin, niece Kate, and several cousins. 

She is a graduate of Rye High School and Manhattanville College with a degree in business.  For the majority of her careershe served in various tax accounting positions in the insurance industry.  She also held her real estate license.  

She was a long-time member of the Coveleigh Club and an active member of Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center.  She was an avid lawn bowler, music lover, and dog lover especially Jack.  She had an infectious sense of humor and generosity of spirit.  She was devoted to her family and was there for them on all levels. 

There is a host of family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.  The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who have expressed their love for Marge in this difficult time. 

Visitation was held from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Friday August 12th at Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY.  There will be a Mass on Saturday August 13th at 9:30 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Don Bosco Parish in Port Chester, NY followed by entombment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Chester, NY.
