John C. Chiappetta, a former Rye resident for 18 years and a recent resident of North Salem, NY for 22 years, passed away on March 7, 2022. John was born in Flushing, New York on August 9, 1960, to Frank and Raffaela (Parrinello) Chiappetta. He graduated from Rye High School, Class of 1978.

John worked with his father as a carpenter for nearly two decades helping run the family business, Frank Chiappetta & Sons, Inc. In 1995, John took ownership and continued to grow the business with his brothers for many years.

Johnny was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Johnny loved being with his family and his close friends. He always brought humor and joy to any occasion with his charm and unforgettable personality.
