Obituary of Daniele S. Chiappetta

Daniele S. Chiappetta, a Rye resident for 53 years, passed away on February 15, 2022.  Daniele was born in Flushing, New York on June 3, 1964 to Frank and Raffeala  (Parrinello) Chiappetta.  He graduated from Rye High School and later attended Westchester Community College.

Danny worked in the automotive industry for over 25 years as a car salesman and mechanic.  Danny was an avid old muscle car enthusiast.  He most recently enjoyed cruising around town in his red, 1975 Chevy Corvette.  Prior to that, Danny was the proud owner of a canary yellow 1970 Chevy Chevelle.

Danny is survived by his son Danny Chiappetta of Rye, NY; his parents Frank and Raffaela Chiappetta of Rye, NY;  brothers: Frank Chiappetta of Rye, NY, John (Nannette) Chiappetta of North Salem, NY, Mario (Lisa) Chiappetta of Mamaroneck, NY, Marco (Adrienne) Chiappetta of Norwalk, CT; sisters: Maria (Vincent) O’Brien of Valhalla, NY, Serina Pecora (Joseph) of Rye, NY, and  nephews: John and Nicholas Chiappetta, Stephen O’Brien, Joey, Robert, Christopher, and Michael Pecora; nieces: Emma (Zeb) and Nina Chiappetta, Courtney and Kayla O’Brien, and Isabella and Sophia Chiappetta.

The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home on Thursday February 17, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Resurrection on Friday February 18, 2022 at 10:00.  Mausoleum entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rye Brook, NY.
