Evelyn Danks Corbetta, a former long-time resident of Scarsdale, NY passed away peacefully on March 3, 2016. Evelyn was born to the late Anne and Robert Danks on February 22, 1927 and raised in Harrison, NY.
Married in 1949, Evelyn and her late husband, Louis J. Corbetta, made their home in Scarsdale, NY for over 40 years. Most recently she lived in Connecticut. Evelyn is survived by five children: Robert of Stamford, CT; Jane (Tony) Yezzi of Darien, CT; Mimi (Jim) Cousins of Danbury, CT; Richard (Karen) of Port Chester, NY; and Allison (Mark) Radin of Fairport, NY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Person-to-Person Campership Fund, 1864 Post Road, Darien, CT to support her belief that all children should have the opportunity to enjoy camp as she did or to the Lollypop Farm Humane Society in Fairport, NY to honor her love for animals.
