I knew Maureen from our days at MU. She was so beautiful, friendly, upbeat, and thoughtful. I saw her several years ago when she came to visit in Milwaukee for a few days. And sure enough, she was still so beautiful, friendly, upbeat, and thoughtful. My sincere sympathies on your sudden and tragic loss. Susie Behling Schmitt

I knew Maureen from the gym and also through our mutual friend, Eileen Rudnick. I was also a nurse which gave us another special bond. I was fortunate enough to spend many fun evenings with Maureen, and her sense of humor and warm, caring nature, made her a joy to be around and a wonderful friend. Although I moved out out of the area several years ago and we haven't seen each other, I will remember her lovely smile and kind heart. Please accept my condolences.
Sincerely,
Joanne Mosca

My memory is our epic 53- mile Avon breast cancer walk in a brutally hot August, 1999. The entire process - raising a ton of money, training so we could walk all those miles, meeting wonderful people along the way and supporting each other throughout was so typical of Maureen’s positive determination to get the most out of life. I will treasure our friendship. She will not be forgotten.
