Obituary of Lidia Borsari

Lidia Borsari, a lifelong resident of Rye Brook, New York, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2021, at the age of 91. She was born on June 11, 1930, in Castelnovo Bariano, Rovigo, Italy.

On March 29, 1952, she married Victor Borsari and together they raised two daughters in Rye Brook, New York. Over the years, they spent many wonderful vacations in Italy visiting family and friends and traveling to beautiful parts of the country.

Lidia was an incredible, gourmet cook. Her love and passion for cooking for family and friends was her enjoyment, and through her cooking she brought her loved ones together. She entertained many guests during her lifetime and was always happy to do so. She was also an excellent seamstress and worked at a local department store for 25 years where she made many close friends. She was known for her caring generosity and constant willingness to help others. She was the ideal wife, mother and nonna. Her family was her world.

Lidia is predeceased by her husband, Victor, who just recently passed away in May, 2021 and survived by her daughters Denise Borsari and Loretta Renda, son-in-law Salvatore, and two grandchildren, Danielle and Brandon Renda, who were her pride and joy.

Visitation will be held at Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Boston Post Road, Rye, New York, on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 2 to 5 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, 136 South Regent Street, Port Chester, New York, on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook, New York.
