Obituary of Peter Edward Tyler

Peter Edward Tyler passed away on February 27, 2021. Born in Brooklyn, NY on November 20, 1928, the son of Raymond Vincent Tyler and Evelyn Burtis Tyler. He is a graduate of St. Gabriel’s High School, Class of 1946, and Iona College Class of 1950 where he earned is BS degree in Accounting. Peter went on to honorably service his country in the US Army. He retired as President of Seaboard Twine & Cordage in NYC after a thirty-year career. He married the former Lucille Fabrizio, a marriage that continued for fifty-five years until her death in February 2017. They were residents of Westchester County for over 54 years and long-time members of Westchester Country Club. Peter was predeceased by his siblings: Rosemary Tyler Stanton (1989), Robert Raymond Tyler (1996) and Jeanne Tyler McDermott (2009). Peter is survived by his two brothers in laws: Dino Fabrizio and wife Pat and Richard Fabrizio and wife Ann. Peter and his wife Lucille, were the loving Uncle and Aunt to 11 nieces and nephews. Peter will be interred with is beloved wife Lucille with full military honors at St. Mary Cemetery in Rye Brook.
