Israel Lopez passed away on February 28, 2021 after a brief illness. He was 76 years old. Born in Puerto Rico on September 27, 1944, he was the son of Florencio and Virginia Lopez. Israel worked a driver for the Federation of the Handicapped for 40 years until his retirement.
Israel is survived by his loving wife Norma of over 50 years, their children Israel Antonio Lopez (Anel) Lopez, and Shirley Lopez Guarino (Eugene), daughter Cynthia Lopez and son Israel Lopez, seven grandchildren: Tristan and Trent Rodriguez, Tori Guarino and Jacob Lopez, and Ismarie, Johnathon and Efrim Lopez.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 6, 2020 at the Church of the Resurrection in Rye, NY at 11:00 AM. The Mass will be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend in person.
