Grace DeCarlo, resident of Rye, NY passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2021. Grace was born on December 7th, 1927 in Port Chester, NY to Joseph and Mary Zappulla. In 1947, she married fellow Port Chester resident Tony DeCarlo with whom she had three daughters. Grace was proprietor of “Over the Bridge Again” in Rye, NY together with her nephew John McCann. She enjoyed developing the business, cooking, and meeting new people. After retiring from “Over the Bridge Again”, she later moved to Miami, FL for 15 years before returning to permanently reside in Rye with her family.  Grace is survived by her three daughters: Gina DeCarlo (Michael Billington) of Rye, NY, Eva DeCarlo (Jerzy Gawronski) of Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Gioia DeCarlo of Miami, Florida. She was a very dear grandmother to Max Billington (Jenna), Simon Gawronski, Emily Billington (Anthony Labarta), Tony Yousoufian and Giancarlo Collucci. She was a great-grandmother to Mia Labarta and Jason Billington. Grace is also survived by her sister Francis Donohue of Parkland, Florida and by many of her loving nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  Please join us in celebrating her life on Thursday, January 14th, 2021, between 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Boston Post Road Rye, NY 10580. Grace will be brought to her final place of rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 High Street Rye Brook, NY 10573 immediately following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Rye Fire Department in Grace's memory.
