Obituary of Caesar Santonastaso Jr.

Caesar Santonastaso, Jr of Rye, NY passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 11th at the age of 83. He was born in Rye, NY, the son of Caesar and Philomena Capozzi Santonastaso. Caesar loved woodworking and being with his family and friends. He was employed with the City of Rye D.P.W for 34 years. He was married to his beloved wife Teresina “Angelina” Santonastaso for 57 years. He served the US Army from 1960-1962. He is survived by his wife, daughters: Philomena, Anna, Angelina and her husband Dave, granddaughter Celia; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his 5 sisters: Marie, Jeanette, Antoinette, Florence and Cecelia. Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Wednesday July 15th from 2-5 and 7-9 at Graham Funeral Home in Rye. A funeral service will be held on Thursday July 16th at 10AM at Resurrection Church in Rye, NY with interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
