Obituary of James W. Dutton

James “Jimmy” Winfield Dutton Born - March 26, 1952 in Mt. Kisco, NY Died – February 29, 2020 in Wilson, NC Born March 26, 1952 in Mt. Kisco, NY to the late Claire Audrey (Lyon) and the late Leland Bartrum Dutton. Jimmy graduated from Rye High School in Rye, NY in June 1970 and received an Associate in Applied Science degree in Architectural Technology from Duchess Community College. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Pace University. Jimmy started his career in the architectural field designing office buildings in both Greenwich, CT and Boston, MA. Jim later left the architectural field to work with his father. He later started his own business designing and building homes in Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Virginia. He most recently had his own auto procurement and auto detailing businesses. Jimmy will always be remembered for his contagious laugh and his crazy sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with his niece and nephew and his many friends along the east coast of the United States. He is remembered with love by his sister, Barbara Lyon Dutton, his niece, Ashleigh Claire Piro and his nephew Tyler James Piro, all of Trumbull, CT. The family will receive friends and family at the Graham Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 11:00 – 12:00 pm. A Prayer Service will be held at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial is immediately following at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, NY. In lieu of flowers, please donate in trust to Ashleigh Piro and Tyler Piro’s college education.
