Obituary of Lucy Lamey

On February 23, 2020 Lucy Lamey (nee Prezioso) passed away peacefully at her home. She was 94 years old.
Lucy was born on June15, 1925 in New York City to Nicola and Lucy Prezioso. On February 15, 1947, Lucy married the love of her life, Thomas Lamey and together they raised three daughters, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, brothers Louie, Anthony, Frank, son-in-law Thomas and great grandson Roger. She is survived by her three daughters, Maureen, Eileen and Kathleen and son-in-law Preston, along with grandchildren, Dina, Jennifer, Andrea, Thomas, Kimberly, Kaitlin and Kyle as well as great grandchildren Thomas, Nicholas, Jack, Scarlett, Vincent, Juliette and Phoenix. Lucy is also survived by her brothers Nicholas (Jacqueline) and Frederick as well as her many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday February 25, 2020 between the hours of 4 PM to8 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on February 26, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, 910 Boston Post Road Rye, NY 10580. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 High Street, Rye Brook, NY 10573.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
