Obituary of Teresa C. Infantino

Teresa C. Infantino a 28 year resident of Rye, passed away on September 21, 2019 at the age of 99.  Born on September 12, 1920 in Greenwich Village NY, the daughter of Ferdinando Chanoux and Carolina DeStefano.  She began her working career at RH Macy in 1936.   In 1944 to 1947 she did Army Exchange Service and, in 1951 she worked at the Combe Incorporated, starting as a bookkeeper and retiring 50 years later as an Executive Vice President. 

She was a member of the American Management Society, Westchester Chapter and Soroptimist International. She was the chair of the Roundtable of Health, and County Chamber of Commerce and nominating chair of United Way of Westchester.  She received numerous awards in various organizations in Westchester. 

Teresa married Vincent Infantino, a marriage lasting over 47 years until his death on December 6, 1989. Together they raised the two children.  She is survived by her children: Patricia (John) Johnson and Robert (Dorothy) Infantino, two grandchildren: Andrew (Jodi) Johnson and Mary Elizabeth (Robert) Katz, and five great grandchildren: Tyler, Sydney, Mitchel, Halle and Alexandra.  She was predeceased by her brother Louis who died in 1934.

The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY on Tuesday September 24 from 4 PM to 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at the Church of the Resurrection at 10 AM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Teresa's name to the ALS Association or a charity of your choice.
