I've known Diane for about 20 years as she was a frequent visitor of the Northwest and Delta Air Lines Lounges. We adored her and became friends. So many wonderful memories will stay with me. I'm so sad and will greatly miss her. She was a very strong woman. She never gave up on this battle and kept everyone positive. Much love to her family at this time and always. Peace to all.

Just heard this news today and was hard to hear. I was a friend of Diane in High School and College. My memories are nothing but kindness, warmth and the sweetest smile one could imagine. My deepest condolences to the entire family including my long time friend John Kanca. RIP Sweet Diane .

I met Diane professionally about 20 years ago but then we became friends. She was beautiful, extremely smart, hard working, funny, kind, caring, with a huge heart and absolute devotion to her family. When my then young son and I visited Diane in Rye, she gave my son a beautiful terra cotta planter with a strawberry plant so he could grow strawberries on our Manhattan terrace! He loved it. Diane was taken way too soon. My condolences to the Dwyer and Kanca families and all her other friends who will miss her. RIP Diane.

Diane left footprints on my heart! Diane was certainly one of a kind. She always lifted my spirits and encouraged me, by her smile and with her wise and kind words. She was kind, sweet, generous and caring. Diane had such a beautiful aura around her, and that’s because she indeed was a beautiful woman, inside and out. Diane will be dearly missed! I have wonderful memories to keep of Diane, forever. My condolences, prayers and heart are with Diane’s family and friends. With Love and Blessings, Jody Maroccia

I met Diane through my sister, Lisa. She was beautiful and smart and we agreed on so many things. Her sense of humor was extraordinary. I will miss her.

Our mothers became friends after both moving to Fairfield from Austria...and I remember our early childhood playdates together. We continued our Fairfield, CT education and always keep tabs on each other throughout High School. We always connected at high school reunions and kept up with each other on FaceBook. I was deeply sorry to read this terrible news. My heart goes out to your family and friends. You were certainly loved and cherished by many of us!!

Diane-- you are and will always be one of my all-time favorite human beings-- beautiful inside and out. Your sparkle, kindness, warmth, courage and genuineness set you apart. You dazzled lady! And now,... our world is greatly dimmed while Heaven gains in grace and goodness. I will always feel blessed for having had the chance to know you. I will never forget you, and will always love, admire and appreciate you.
Sending my deepest sympathy to Bob, the boys and all of your family. I am heartbroken for them and am praying that all the wonderful memories they have of you will be a source of comfort to help get them through.
I could not be sadder that you are gone from this world. Thank you for touching my life with your goodness. Rest in eternal love and peace which you so richly deserve.
Godspeed, my friend.

Roswita, John, and Cheryl Ann:
My deepest sympathies to you and your families in Diane's passing away. We dined at Peohe's on Coronado Island to 'catch up' when she would visit. Outrageously smart and beautiful woman. I'll also never forget our time in NYC especially where we dined/shopped in Chinatown, then went to Uncle John's/Aunt Julika's house where Uncle John played the accordion and sang with Aunt Julika while Diane and I danced the polka in the living room! She was my "go to" person and will be sorely missed.
Much love,
Cousin Anna-Marie [Fedorko] (San Diego, CA)
