Elena E. (Esposito) Bertolino of Rye Brook, New York passed away on March 20, 2019. She was 85 years old.

Elena was born in New York City, the daughter of Susan (Merolla) and Louis Esposito. She had two older sisters, Fernanda Esposito and Marie Esposito. She graduated from New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn in 1952. She worked at the Brooklyn Army Base and also as an Executive Secretary at Western Publishing, known for producing the Little Golden Books. It was while working there that she met her husband, Anthony C. Bertolino. They married in 1965 and moved to Rye Brook in 1967 where they lived for 52 years. She was a devoted mother to their two daughters, Victoria and Elena.

Elena enjoyed entertaining, cooking, crocheting, and traveling with family. A member of Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich, Connecticut, she played golf with the Nine-Holers, and served as the group chairperson for several years. She also volunteered at the Ridge Street Elementary School, contributing hundreds of hours of service which she greatly enjoyed.

Elena is survived by her husband, Anthony; her daughters Victoria (Pete) Finn and Elena Bertolino; her grandson, Peter Finn; and her sister, Marie Esposito.

Visitation will be held at Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY, on Sunday, March 24, from 5-7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Church of Our Lady of Mercy in Port Chester, NY, on Monday, March 25 at 9:30 am. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook will be private.
