Rose Puglia passed away the morning of March 10, 2019. She was a resident of Port Chester, NY for the past 36 years. She was born in the Bronx, NY on September 17, 1921 to Antonio Ambrosino and Giulia (Ruocco) Ambrosino. Rose graduated from Evander Childs High School, June 1939. She earned a certificate from Pace Institute, School of Accountancy in 1942. She is predeceased by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Rose loved playing golf, was an avid gardener and a devoted grandmother. She was deeply religious. She married Salvatore Puglia on June 4, 1957 at St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church in Pelham, NY. Sal died December 25, 1998. Rose is survived by her three children: Carol Puglia of Port Chester, Thomas (Noreen) Puglia of Pleasantville, and Janice (John) Girardi of Port Chester. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Jack, Julia (Max), Emily (Joe), Christopher, Caroline (Paul), and Cate.

She will be waked at Graham Funeral Home, Rye, NY on March 13, from 4:00-8:00pm. A funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church in Port Chester, NY on March 14 at 10:00am. Rose will be buried at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Our Lady of the Highways, Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, Childs, Maryland.
