Obituary of Patricia Dewey Castellano

Patricia Dewey Castellano, a longtime resident of New Fairfield, CT, passed away on March 1, 2019 at the age of 71.

Born in Port Chester, NY, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Dewey. She attended Port Chester High School, class of 1965 and then continued her education, graduating from Iona College in New Rochelle with a Bachelor of Science, class of 1994.

After college she started her career as an accounting supervisor at Pepsi CO Inc. and was there for over 28 years. Upon retiring Patti started her own crafting business PDC CRAFTS LLC. Patti enjoyed reading Agatha Christie novels, her favorites: Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot series and Murder on the Orient Express. Patti’s favorite sport was bowling and played on a league team at PepsiCo. She also enjoyed playing board games and weekly get-togethers with family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Gaetano P. Castellano for whom she was married to for 51 years.  She is also survived by her sister Betty Ann Vogel of Stratford, CT. 

Patti was loved by all who met her, both old and new. During Patti’s illness she would say “just remember me for a second and you will feel a warmth in your heart”. Patti will be missed dearly.

The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY, on Friday March 8, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 9, 2018 at the Church of the Resurrection at 11:00 AM.
