Obituary of Raymond Grancia

Raymond Grancia born February 3, 1927 departed this earth January 17, 2019, seventeen days shy of his ninety-second birthday.

After serving in the military as a paratrooper during World War II, Raymond then attended and graduated from New York University.

Due to Raymond’s strong work ethic, intelligence and acumen, success came early in life.  By his late twenties, Raymond had built communities of single family homes in Tarrytown and Scarsdale, then proceeded to build apartment buildings in New Rochelle, the Edgemont in Scarsdale and bought and co-oped the Wedgwood in White Plains, New York.

Raymond worked until the day he died, conducting business that very morning.

Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of forty-six years, Diane Grancia and a sister, Irene Henderson.

Visitation shall be Friday January 25, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye, New York.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 26, 2019 at 10 AM at the Church of the Resurrection.
