Obituary of Lucy LaBrusciano
Lucy Antinozzi LaBrusciano, a lifelong resident of Rye, New York passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on January 1, 2019. Lucy was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Shindo) Antinozzi and was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Jim. She is survived by her devoted son Jimmy, her sister-in-law Margie LaBrusciano and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Lucy will be remembered as being hard-working, loving gardening (especially her rock garden and her “mountain pinks”) and “telling it like it is.” She was a devoted wife and mother with a sharp wit and fun-loving ways. For many years she worked assisting her brother Joseph at the White Dot Golf Shop in Rye.
Lucy was predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Anthony Antinozzi, Rocco (Mildred) Walter (Connie) and Lawrence Antinozzi. Her sisters, Jenny Antinozzi, Lee (Michael) Donovan, Dorothy (Angelo) Lamp and Rose Antinozzi.
The family would like to thank Peggy Jordan for the care and compassion shown to Lucy during the past months.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Boston Post Road, Rye, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of the Resurrection, Boston Post Road, Rye, New York on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery in Port Chester, New York. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of one’s choice or to Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, New York.
