Obituary of Dionisios Roubanis

It is with great sadness that the family of Dionisios Saki Roubanis announces his passing, on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the age of 74.  

As the Good Humor Ice Cream Man, Dionisios was proud to serve the communities of Rye, Port Chester and Rye Brook, New York for over 30 years. It brought Saki great joy and fulfillment to be welcomed into these neighborhoods and his truck was a staple in our hearts as well as in the hearts of everyone he served he knew by name. 

Saki is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Joanne and his children: Nicholas (wife Lisa), Paul (wife Suzanna), and Dean (wife Pamela). Saki will also be forever remembered by his five grandchildren: James, Penelope, Katherine, Alex, and Niko; and by his sister Soula.

The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 4:00-8:00PM.  A Funeral Service in memory of Dionisios will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Greek Orthodox Churchof Our Savior in Rye, NY.  Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made in Dionisios’ honor to the Obesity Medicine Associationwww.obesitymedicine.org .
