Obituary of Richard James Larkin, Jr.

Richard “Dick” Larkin passed away on September 29, 2018.  Born in Manhattan on January 07, 1933, the son of Richard Larkin and Berne Bearkland. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Amphion. 

Dick derived great pleasure from his love of painting where he spent many hours in his studio creating beautiful masterpieces. He was an avid tennis player who also enjoyed all sports. He also loved to spend time with his 3 grandchildren.

Dick is survived by sons, Jim (Jenny) of Fort Worth, TX,  Sean (Barbara) of Greenwich, CT,  daughter Maribeth (Tim) of Sylvania, OH and grandchildren Lacie, Chayne and Christian. He is preceded by his wife, Helen.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Saint Paul Church 68 Sherwood Avenue Greenwich, CT.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Yonkers YMCA. http://yoymca.org/
