Kathleen Inga Grossman (nee Lee) passed away on August 16, 2018. Born on July 19, 1925 in Harrison, NY, the daughter of Inga Kathleen Giles Kayner and Frederick Lee. Her stepfather, Raymond Kayner, was also a very important part of her life. She was a graduate of Harrison High School. She lived for many years in Rye, NY and Riverside, CT. She worked as the receptionist at the Putnam Trust Company on Mason St in Greenwich, CT which later became Bank of New York. She is survived by two children: Inga Grossman Nelson and husband, Karl Nelson, and Jeffrey Grossman and wife, Nora Grossman, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Stacey Grossman Hitchcock.

Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Jewish Home at Rockleigh and the VNA of Englewood for the loving care that they provided Mom in her final months.

The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home 1036 Boston Post Road, Rye, NY 10580 on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Resurrection on Wednesday at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donation to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital made in her memory.
