Obituary of Mary Joyce O'Neill

Mary Joyce O’Neill, 91 of Rye Brook, NY passed away on June 13, 2018. She was born May 24, 1927 to the late Carroll L. and Nora Livingston in Plattsburgh, NY, graduated from Plattsburg State Teachers College (now SUNY Plattsburgh) in 1947 and taught school in Harrison, NY. She married James D. O’Neill of Harrison, NY in 1948 and resided in Westchester County for the rest of her life. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren, her church, charitable activities and wide circle of friends. 

She was predeceased by her devoted husband James, sister Joan C. Livingston of Croton-on-Hudson, NY and Philip A. Livingston of Plattsburgh, NY. Joyce is survived by her daughters Ann Mulderrig and husband Robert of Stamford, CT, son James D. O’Neill Jr and wife Anna of Rye Brook, NY and daughter Peggy Corcoran and husband Tom of Old Tappan, NJ. She is also survived by her four cherished grandchildren, Katherine M. Corcoran and Mary E. Corcoran, Robert K. Mulderrig and Kevin J. O’Neill; her nephews Michael, Philip and Chris Livingston and niece, Cheryl Favro. 

The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY on Monday June 18, 2018 and Tuesday June 19, 2018 from 4PM-7PM.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Greenwich, CT.  After the Mass, refreshments will be available from 11:30 AM at the St. Paul Parish Center. At 1:00 PM, the O’Neill Family will depart the Church and proceed to the Greenwood Cemetery in Rye, NY for Joyce’s burial.
