Obituary of Stella Novoa

Stella Novoa , long time resident of Rye, died peacefully at home on March 20, 2018.She was the daughter of Alfonso and Mary Novoa.

Lalita, as she was affectionally known, was born in Bogota, Colombia. She was an avid swimmer and walker, having been a free style swim champion in her native Bogota.

Stella Novoa is survived by her sisters: Marina Siabatto, Gloria Brenner, Malena Kassner, and Anita Sullivan.  She was predeceased in death by her brother Alfonso Novoa Jr.

Those who new Stella will remember her magnetic personality and unwavering generosity. Stella's charisma and love for life will be greatly missed.

A Mass in celebration of her life will be held at St. Mary's Church Greenwich Ct. at 10am on April 14^th 2018

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Rye YMCA, www.ryeymca.org or Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation.
