Bridget Agnes O'Leary, born on October 11, 1924 entered heaven's gates peacefully with her family beside her on Sunday evening February 11, 2018. Bridget was one of twelve children born in Cahercanivan, Kilmihil, Ireland.
She was Head Nurse of the Maternity Ward at North Shore Hospital in Long Island, NY until she retired at the age of 70 years old. She then remained at the hospital as a volunteer for the next twenty years. Bridget was a devout Catholic who lived a long wonderful life with many friends and family.
For the past three years, she was living in Rye, NY where she was being cared for by her loving niece Barbara Hughes and her family.
Bridget is lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
