Obituary of Mark Francis Warga

Mark Francis Warga, a lifelong resident of Rye and Port Chester NY, passed away on January 20, 2018.  He was born on March 24, 1957 to John and Lillian Warga.  Mark graduated from Stepinac High School in 1975 and later attended SUNY New Paltz where he received an BA in 1979.  Mark worked as a security guard for Atlas Security in Greenwich, CT.  He was a longtime usher and head usher at Resurrection Church in Rye, NY.

Mark is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his brothers: Jay (Denise) Warga, of Pawling, NY and Gary Warga of Marlton, NJ; sister Mary (Gerry) Wegner of Randolph, NJ; nephews and nieces: Ross (Gordana) Warga of Montclair, NJ, Andrew (Melissa) Warga of Darian, CT, Jillian (Ryan) Rooney of Sherman, CT, Anthony and Jenna Warga of Marlton, NJ, and Amanda Wegner of Randolph, NJ; great nieces and nephews: Emma, Isabella and James Warga of Darien, CT and Riley Rooney of Sherman CT.

The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY on Thursday January 25^th at 10:00 AM.  Immediately following, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Resurrection Church.
