Obituary of Stacey Anne Hitchcock

Stacey Anne Hitchcock a resident of Riverside, CT and formerly of Rye, NY, Norwalk, CT, and Cincinnati, OH, passed away on January 19, 2018.  Stacey was the daughter of Mortimer and Kathleen Grossman.  She graduated from the Academy of the Resurrection in Rye, NY and later attended Pace University School of Nursing where she graduated with an RN nursing degree. 

Stacey was a caring nurse who worked at Phelps Memorial Hospital and Northern Westchester Hospital.  During her career she worked in medical/ surgical, visiting nurse/home care and the burn unit.  Stacey was charitable and always eager to lead a helping hand however possible.  During the past 5 years, Stacey lovingly cared for her mother, Kathleen Inga Grossman, age 92.

Stacey is predeceased by her father Mortimer Grossman.  She is survived by her two daughters Sierra and Alexis Hitchcock, her mother Kathleen Grossman, brother Jeff Grossman (Nora), sister Inga Grossman Nelson (Karl), nephews: Matthew Savitsky (Samantha), Peter Savitsky (Melissa King), Christopher Savitsky, Raymond Grossman, Ryan Grossman, and her dearest friend Joan Powell.

The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY on Tuesday January 23, 2018 from 4-7 PM.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Resurrection on Wednesday January 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
