Leah Linden, 89 of Rye, died at Greenwich Hospital on Sept. 3, 2017. She was born in Brooklyn. An accomplished pianist, Leah attended Juilliard on a four-year scholarship and graduated with honors. Several years after the deaths of their spouses, Leah and long-time Rye resident B.A. Linden, DVM, met and later married. After her retirement, she opened a piano studio in her home in Rye, teaching piano for many years. As a member of the Ethical Culture Society of Westchester, she occasionally played piano for services. She is pre-deceased by her husband Paul Stein and her husband B.A. Linden. She is survived by her 3 children, Bill Stein and his wife Daniella of Warwick, Fred Stein of NYC, and Roberta Stein-Ham and her husband Jack Ham of Rye, her step-children, Richard Linden and his wife Katie of Andover, CT, Dr. Robert Linden and his wife Caren of Niantic, CT.
