Purcell, Geraldine Ryan loving wife of 68 years to James, who predeceased her in 2011 passed away on March 5, 2017. Their lasting union produced 11 children: James R., John, Patrick, Thomas, Geraldine McGuirk, Robert, William, Mary Jane Reilly, Vincent, Joseph and George; 31 Grandchildren, and 24 Great Grandchildren.
Born in the Bronx, NY on July 17, 1922, she spent most of her childhood in Harrison and lived in Rye for 40 years. The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY on Wednesday, March 8th from 4-8 PM . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday March 9th at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection. Internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
