KATHLEEN (KATHY) MARY COSTELLO HOFER died suddenly of a tragic accident on March 27, 2018. Raised in Queens Village, the daughter of lta and Joseph Costello.

She worked as Executive Assistant for John Notter of National Bulk Carrier.

She met her beloved husband, Karl Hofer and was married for 43 years. She has lived in Rye Brook for over 40 years, where she raised her 3 sons and 5 grandchildren.

If you knew her, you loved her. If she loved you, you knew it. Her kindness and selflessness knew no bounds. An avid New York Sports fan, she loved watching games with her family and friends. Her lifeblood pumped with enthusiasm when sharing sports moments with her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Karl Hofer, her three sons, Karl (Misty), Michael (Ali) and Sean (Jillian), her 5 grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, Katie, Sean, and Andrew. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Patricia, Mary, Ann (Bruce) Castagna and Joseph (Kathy), as well as many loving, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Her life was well lived and she will be missed. 

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 2 from 4 until 8 PM at Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Boston Post Road, Rye, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 3, at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Port Chester, NY.
