Obituary of Anton Trumm

Anton “Peter” Trumm, a lifelong resident of Rye, NY, passed peacefully at his home amongst his loved ones on July 21, 2017. He was 58 years old and courageously fought a battle against MDS. He was born to Anton “Dutch” and Patricia Trumm on February 24, 1959.  A graduate from Rye High School, Peter received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford in electrical engineering. He was co-owner of Ridge Door Sales, a longstanding garage door business in Rye, NY.  He was an avid boater, fitness enthusiast, accomplished carpenter and mechanical genius.

Peter is survived by his mother, loving wife Michele, cherished daughter Samantha and her husband Philip LaGamma, his three sons Charlie, Jesse, Peter Jr, sisters Nancy Trumm Hughes, Susan Trumm Weaver, their families and his beloved Jack Russell Terrier “Lucy”.

The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home on Saturday July 22, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SUNY Maritime College at sunymartime.edu.
